I always see new users registering but this one...

i checked some more and more useless menbers who don't post they just edit there profile to add there weblinks....
Jason are those the spambots you were talking about?

thats what you get when you "just" turn on the crappy phpbb-captcha.
maybe, jason should take a look at this one
shoulda really throw them off but is sometimes also hard to read for humans... |

| A simple image verify would stop drones from registering. But keeping users from putting ad sites in there sig would require an entire regex check on the signature. So it's not too simple. |

| i've already started writing my own forum, and will be able to import the existing phpbb stuff into it. Time is limited right now, and all the existing functions that tie into the phpbb database (such as the control panel) will also need to be changed. |

Wow, an entire forum custom forum system would be pretty cool. Any chance of us seeing any AJAX features in the new system?

I wouldn't go open source yet. Not until it's true and tested. I would hate to have my custom portal go open source at it's current place in time. So many holes i need to fix in it still.
BTW, one more post and you're 500 posts old FBI!
