I'm about to change my shell provider. I'm really tired of the bad uptime for my eggdrop bots and stuff. Who or Which company is the BEST shell provider out there? sign me up, lol.
Now seriously. If anybody knows about a good shell provider regardless of the $$ please let me know thanks |

if you're looking for a shell that supports ircd, i'd agree with lomag as being one of the best.
if you're only wanting ro run eggdrops and stuff, you might have a look at SATexas (www.satexas.com). they have always provided great service and support, but they're not cheap. their shells include a custom vhost, plus other features. you can find them on efnet at #satexas, if they haven't moved channels. |

| There are a vareity of free providers that use shellsnet dot org, and some of these offer ircd hosting. Some of them are as good as or better then commercial accounts, but they usually demand that you pass strict tests before you can get an account. |

Ive had good experience with The Hostbusters (I can't post the url due to some stupid rule...) - but it really depends on what you need.
For a 99.5% uptime eggdrop or a hobby ircd they are great. If you want something more professional though I can only agree with the recommendation of Lomag |
