No warez networks

Just out of curiousity, would it be possible to list a few networks that don't have warez? Smile

- I'm trying to find some nice ones, and I really can't be arsed to go over the networks list Wink

Yes, we do have categories defined, and in the past, we marked off each network, if they had filesharing/warez, if they were kids only, or no warez, family style, etc.

The problem is, it was not something that was done for each and every network, and with new network addition techniques, it is not something that we are currently doing.

We have about 5 major items that are in development ....

Somewhere after that, we have planned to categorize all networks, and allow users to browse networks like they can with channels in the Chat Directory.

So much to do, so little time.

I was on a great network with no Warez but then.. it struck.. so i left and took my server away with it... it was a sad day.

There are no warez at my net also. irc.chattingaway.com With a name like that you could plainly see its for chatting, which is the purpose of IRC

Warez is something I can't decide whether or not to allow, it can bring a bad reputation for a small network, while at the same time, if users want it, it's their choice if they actually decide to use it, at the moment i'm completely warez free, and I would _prefer_ to keep it that way, but it would depend on what users want (A lot of decisions on my network are user based, such as what kind of channels to allow, server linkings, opers etc.)

GamerSource is a network with zero tolerance for warez. Our purpose is to provide gamers with a place to announce tournaments, clanwars, etc. to each other, get help and support with anything they need that is game related, such as setting up servers and so fourth. Although we are still working on getting things completed and ready for our big opening day, you are welcome to join in early.
