heh. bit of an understatement.
Google can even be used to find sensitive information on web sites. I guess it would be against the rules to tell you how, but there are many features of google that aren't known to most people. These tools can be used to find passwords and such. And the best part is it's perfectly legal. Technically, the site owner put it out there for all to see. Suing someone for breaking into your site this way is the same as suing them from breaking into your site when you put the password plainly for all to see.
And katsklaw, I don't think this answers his question. He was asking for a javascript IRC client, which according to my minute knowledge of internet languages is impossible.
I guess he meant Java but just pointing this out.
(For those who don't know, Java and JavaScript are about as different as can be). |

I know the difference between java and javascript. However, look at it this way. Once he went to a few of those sites and seen that they were all java and not javascript, he would either clue in or try to search for javascript chat in which case he probably find none or fine what he wants.
In either case I got him to do what he should have done to begin with .. use a search engine, which was my goal. So with that said do you think I answered his question? Maybe not directly .. but I think I did. |
