Spammers.

It was deleted because the original poster didn't follow the forum rules and included network names in the subject, just as you did again in this post. I've gone ahead and removed the network names from the subject, you can consider this a formal warning. I don't like "board nazi's" anymore than the next guy, but when people were able to post network names in subjects, they were doing it non-stop for no apparent reason just to get their name out in the front page.

Back to this thread's subject matter:

If others can validate that this network is spamming, AND it's not just random people trying to get them in trouble (e.g; it's network operators or people affiliated with them doing the spamming), I will stop listing them on SearchIRC.

There is no reason to spam. It's unwanted, and it doesn't help gain anything other than hate.

If it was deleted .. then the moderator that deleted it had a reason to .. perhaps you should respect that.

still, 2 nets has reported that the accused net was going around spamming their need for staff and users on other than their own nets. It was done by both the netadmins on the accused net.

I apologize for the report too. It got a little heated with forum debates, floodbots and networkwide bans flying all over the place.

Also, I think it was a little strange that the greekirc post stays, and the unmentionable accused net's related posts where deleted.

The problem is, it would be all too easy for:

1) Someone to be spamming in the name of a network in order to get a network booted from SearchIRC.

2) A group of friends to lie about a network spamming in order to get them booted from SearchIRC.

So this is a tricky thing to deal with.

I see your point of view, and I took it granted for beeing so obvious. I didnt have a chance to read the accused net's netadmin wrote before it got deleted.

I'm not aiming to take it off the listing, it's a too small net for anyone to care if its listed or not anyway. My goal was enlightenment on what a less fortunate in the area of intelligence and behaviour the netadmins where, who is also regulars at this forum.

I also assumed that it was granted the parties posted where from totally different worlds, opers from 200k nets and opers from 30.000k nets who dont know eatchother, reporting the same spam
