Well most important thing in a irc network would be its stability and having things work i went and visited your website it seems that none of the links work besides for the ones that is pointing off site,.....

that shows poor adminship i would suggest fixing your site and posting again....

That was pretty harsh-perhaps the website is under construction?

Not everyone is as perfect as you are, guest. Why don't you tell us your network so we can be allowed to go nitpick as to what we don't like about it? Oh, wait, you expect perfection from everyone, so your network should be totally perfect right? Post it and lets go see, since you appear the be the judge on a perfect IRC network. You appear to know everything about how an IRC network should be ran-so post yours and lets see how perfect everyone else thinks yours is.

I think you will find that people can nitpick about your network just as well as you nitpicked about his. Get off the guys back-hes trying to get a network going and hes doing it his own way. My website and network isn't perfect either, but that doesn't mean that because one link or a few on the website doesn't work that hes not cut out to be an admin either. No IRC network is perfect-there are many ideas on how to run one, thats why there are so many. You don't like his, don't use it-but don't make asanine statements that his isn't even worthy of running because a few hyperlinks don't work.

I totally aggree with "U"....

As being an admin of a very small network myself I know how hard it is to get users on the network.
Specially when you start you grab every opportunity to promote your network and stuff, being this one of those things.

Why not give some positive critisism some time?

I know I would like that, and I guess most other (new) (starting) admins too....

It would hardly be nitpicking "as you say" when not one link works.
If you went by percentage I would believe nitpicking to be less than 100% of nothing.
if your visitors to your site can only see the first page then im not sure what service you are giving.
In most sane cases a person would make sure they are ready before advertising/posting anything.
Although you do not like critisism, you can be assured you will learn this rule in the end whether someone tells you now or you end up learning it on your own.

Good luck and thanks for sending people elsewhere so the rest of us can profit from your mistakes. Very Happy

Wow,
The guest is kind of harsh! I also stopped by this server and I found the admin to be very friendly!! From time to time everyone has to redo, or update their websites. Our guest must make them on his computer and upload all at one time so his site has no down time. I REALLY liked the website myself. Great job!! To bad everyone on irc isnt as nice as the admin on this network.

Some people cruise around looking for things to pick apart. Was a nice clean website and i'm sure the links will work once the site is out of the construction phase. If the people don't have the nuts to post under their own login and hide behind guest I would usually discount the criticism.

Good Luck

Thanks for your reply guest. Whats your network name? Or do you not run one?

If you want to critique others, why don't you allow us to critique you?

That would be no fun, now would it? You just like to pick on others.

Come on, lets see your perfect website and network since you feel everyone should be perfect!
