|
|
Hello there,
I enlisted our Network here for a while,
but somehow my network got inactive.
Reason from mail:
| Quote: | The reason it was removed was:
------
Unable to get a channel listing on MuChMo.Net for more than a week.
------
The last connection message was:
------
Successful connection.
------ |
It says its connecting so far, but last time it connected it was:
| Quote: | | [Thu Jul 19 15:14:05 2012] - Connect - scrawl68!~scrawl@data.searchirc.org [VHOST mcm-679B02D.searchirc.org] |
No next attempt since then. (No Bans issued since then either)
Tried to reactivate via control panel 2 times but after a few hours I get a new Mail stating it couldn't get a channellist.

| do you use a ircd that prevent's /LIST from being issued in xx amount of seconds after connect, try lowering or even disabling it then you might find the scrawl bot wont have an issue. |

| Well that is the exactly same problem we have. No connection attempts since 19th July; reactivation is failing all the time. I guess they're not interested in our network any more since they're not even replying to all the threads that are made about this issue. Time to move on. :/ |

it's not a case of they aren't interested or can't be bothered, the network that is trying to get listed needs to do their part in meeting all criteria requested and if a problem does arise to read what the email states correctly.
In this instance the last email he claimed he had was the scrawl bot couldn't get a channellist, there's the error so only he can fix it, the same would apply to you and your network whatever the error is.
Naturally the staff here will only give limited help to you as you have a duty to be responsible for reading the rules and guidelines and making sure you correct problems on your own, not expect them to help you with the network side of things also. |

| It's also a case of Jason seeming to be AWOL - and, of all the SearchIRC staff, he is currently the only one who can look into it. Even as a moderator here, I can't do anything to help you |
