Hi Dudes.
Xdcc bots/warez -annoying creatures.
Does anyone out there know how to break into the damn things, and if so can they please email me, i have 30 odd on one of my hundred and fifty ip addresses. pisses me off that i cant give it to a customer.

Not sure about this, but some ircds support banning of certain masks of DCCs.
For example, commonly, *.exe is banned.
You could add *.mp3 to your banned list, which would effectively break 90% of all music trading activity.
You could have an oper'ed bot sitting in the void, listening for dcc rejection notices and glining any bot that tries to send a user an mp3 file or other warez file for a few hours.
I'm sure you could think of other ways to do it, but that's one way I'd look into the problem.

| By not allowing MP3 files to be sent isn't going to stop anyone. They'll just compress them and send the ZIP files. |
