Hi Guys.

First:
I'm looking for a network out there, for a friend who wishes to be a part of an IRCu based IRC Network, with GNUWorld as their set services.

He doesn't really mind about the user base, low/large, just as long as it's a friendly enviroment without any warez.

Box Stats: Celeron 1.7ghz, 512mb of sdram, 40gb hdd, direct 10mbit connection from southo.net's 10gbps backbone.

Second:
I'm looking for people who are willing to run their channels on my network that I've just merged with another network. I'll give you the basic run down on our network.

Bahamut IRCd - Latest out, with very small modifications to make it appropriate/work for our network.

Cygnus+Operstats Services - The only thing these services have, and it's in my opinion, along with other admins, that "BotServ" is a pain in the backside when it comes to /lusers. -So we choose to run a better, more stable set of services - Thats just our opinion, and it may vary from person to person.

We also run a backup Operator service on another machine.

We don't mask IP addresses.

We don't offer vhosts -Why is it so nessesary that every man and his dog to have one anyway? -- just purchase a shell account if you're that security minded. You can get a bnc from places for as low as $1 a month from g4-hosting.net, few dollars from lomag.net, etc.

We're looking for servers, also. These must be running on our IRCd, and use our services.

Restrictions - 1 Admin (Who will recieve CSop)., 1 Global IRCop, and upto 2 Local IRCOperators, while in testlink. - a 14 day testlink will apply for most servers, while we get an idea of stability and personality of the IRC operators. Then, the 2 local ircops, can be made into global's, if the administrator so wishes. -You will have DNS, and won't be added into irc pool until your 14 day testlink is up.

We're pretty laid back, we don't expect much from global ircops but to be online approx an hour or two a day, and admins to be online as often as they can.
