Screenshot of what things are shaping up to look like, if anyone's interested.

I'd be quite interested if it had x3 (srvx fork) support as well.
Good job thus far, looks promising none the less. |

| bctrainers, the problem there is external to X3, there is only account+email+password support that can be changed while X3 is running. Everything else requires a bot on IRC to issue commands to services. Although that does still make it possible. |

Currently I do not plan on implementing anything for X3, as I do not use it or any other services for that matter. Perhaps this is a project you should undertake? |

Well as I said I would try my best and put up a svn and small website. I've just put them up now located at: http://lildevlz.net/ucp/ where I've added the svn info and will post development updates etc... etc... Users are free to check out the latest svn or come ask questions / get support and so on.
Thanks. |

Not to get off topic, but if X3 ported srvx's qserver module (not sure if it actually has), then this is possible without the need for a "true" bot on IRC. Instead, a web script of some sort could interact with services through the telnet interface provided by qserver. |

Yeah it's already been ported, but I personally have never been able to get it to work properly even on a regular srvx install, maybe its just something im doing, but either way having looked through the code, I dont particulaly (sp?) like the way it works anyway. |

| jnewing this looks very slick. Impressive work! Its encouraging to to see someone trying to take IRC to the next level like that. Keep it up. I'd like to try out your software when you consider it to be ready for release. |

| hey, has there been any updates with relation to this? I, for one, am keen to see the code go "gold" (or "live", depending on how you want to phrase it) |

I do have to apologize for not keeping up on this project, but know that its not dropped.
A few months ago my partner passed suddenly and very unexpectedly, I've not really been on the computer much since then as I've been dealing with my own things, and spending a lot of time with our daughter.
I will be back and this project will resume I simply just do not have a confirmed date yet. |

So just a few updates, a friend of mine has been gracious enough to host me for free <3 so thanks go out to him, however his server does NOT allow IRCd's to be hosted etc... so the short of it is I've got http://epicgeeks.net up and running, I've been posting my InspIRCd modules there, and have almost finished up with the Orion UCP page where I will be hosting that project again.
I'm currently looking for somewhere to cont development on the services / web interface itself. Currently I'm doing it on my home network but I would like to test it out somewhere a little more public.
I'll be sure to keep you posted as best as I can. |
