| I have my own VPS & I also have a UK ircd shell. I will only link either server to networks that have at least 25 users on it. If your network has 1 server and 5 people on it do not contact me cuz i will not link to your network. Also I DO NOT repeat DO NOT have any people to bring with me & I DO NOT repeat DO NOT give out shell accounts. So if this sounds like something your network could use then please contact me at punx(at)the-mapes<dot>net &/or punx(at)ireland<dot>com &/or sign on to EFNet & msg punx. Don't bother leaving me a msg here on searchirc, the best way to get a hold of me to either via email or msg me on EFNet. Serious requests only. |

could be a good deal for a network looking for geographic diversity in their servers. |

I would have to say I think he is offering to help load balance and help with diversifying a networks server listing. It would make sense to ask for a certain number of users or this would be futile anyway.
And to webcoder... do we have any proof of his "commitment issues"? |

I have actually seen punx advertise here since December and he does link, provide a good link and service, is a great admin, but seems he delinks without warning or any real reason. I think this makes most people wary of him.
Also punx - you DO, I repeat, DO need to bring users or something of worth to a link (even if it's just services). This (a) makes you committed to the link and (b) makes it hard for you to remove yourself without good reason (and without pissing off a few admin and users in the process). |

I just went and read all of punx's posts. He hasn't bashed anyone since he's been here. I don't know if he has on an irc network, but that doesn't mean you and the others should be able to make accusations that are hearsay. Leave people to find out for themselves. |
