Hey,
My name is Ryan, I love to use IRC. I'm actually looking to become an IRCop and learn the ropes of running a network (But that's a different topic)
I'm 16. I love to wakeboard, and jetski, and I love anything that is fast enough to do something stupid on.
Any questions for me, Fire away! |

Welcome, Ryan, to SearchIRC. I am PingBad, your obedient waiter.
As for your invitiation to questions, may I ask what you seek into an IRC network that you wish to run, or operate on? |

I want to learn to be an IRCop. Not the ones that appear as @ at the top of channels. But the big dogs. The ones that Op the servers.
I want to know if anyone is looking to take in an apprentice. |

Do you have any channel management experience (@)? If not, I suggest you start there to get to terms with the various politics involved with being a community leader.
As for trying to find a place to recruit to, most proffesionally-run networks I am personally aware of "hire from within" (meaning they'll only consider those who have been part of the userbase of the network, know how things run on the network, and have a proven trackrecord of trust and integrity).
I don't mean to put you off, merely give you a heads-up on what you may come across in your journey to becoming a world-class IRC Operator. |

Ya. That's the problem I keep hitting.
As for channel experience, I currently run about 4 channels but they're all on separate networks. |
