Well scrawl has been joining our network about once every 10 - 15 minutes, has the time the scrawl connects been lowered, as when I first signed up it was once an hour and thats it, once every 10 - 15 minutes is too much, and all the notices of scrawl connecting is annoying me and a number of our IRC op's on the network.
Could this get looked into a.s.a.p |

| It was lowered a long while ago from 60 minutes to 20 minutes, so you should be seeing scrawl 3 times an hour. |

we used to have a load issue, we couldn't index networks very frequently due to processing hundreds of channels per second across all the networks. Over time I optimized the code and without upgrading the hardware, we now index enough times that the network graphs look pretty smooth.
if the robot connecting is causing problems, you might want to not watch user connections, or filter it out with a script. |

Just my problem is when I look in my status window, I see three Scrawl's as the last three connections and quits, my network is not a big network, and I do not wish to de-list/ban Scrawl, its just when I first signed up on here it was done once an hour, as for a script not to see it for all opers, I wouldnt know how to make one, and as for the server notices, it is a must that I see all server notices, esspecially while coding module for our network, as sometimes errors can happen and bugs happen.
As for a possible solution.
Would it be possible for smaller networks like ours, be able to opt out of the 20 min intervals and have 60 min intervals instead, controlled by our cpanel here on searchirc |
