whoa whoa whoa... first off we're still wanting to link. second, I was just asking for people's preferences, not a debate as to what is best. and Jobe it's not a question of being clever, I was bored, and I'd appreciate it if you kept your attitude elsewhere. |

I apologize that you seem to have taken my comment the wrong way, but in my experiance, poll's that have little relevance to the topic theyre on are usually only there to highlight the topic in the thread listing. Also, you made no mention as to asking for opinions on Operating Systems in your initial post anyway. So from everyone elses point of view the poll does look out of place. The best advice I can give you towards that is to keep polls on topic with the thread they're on.
To add to that, if you wanted to know opinions on operating systems you could easily have started a seperate thread in another section with a poll that would have been on topic.

Such as in the chat board - and, if memory serves me, a topic of such a nature was made. I think it was the *nix breed of distros that won the poll tho, been a while since i've checked for the topic |
