microswift is a small and very stable network looking for reliable links from networks or single servers with at least 20-30 stable users to bring to the table. only rule as of now is no shady characters and no home based computers unless they're fios and running some flavor of unix and aren't used as personal computers. i'd rather discuss things personally, so hop on our network and send a tell to drew. quickie:
we are generally themed around anime, rpgs and zelda, although the conversation in our main channel (#zelda) is most definitely not limited to that. i'd say we're a naughty bunch, to sum it up in one word. chatter ranges from nearly every topics imaginable, many of which not suitable for the faint of heart, so a word of warning on that, although we all know our limits and respect each other. we have users of all ages and interests. our server is the main java chat network of the famous zelda fan site hyrule dot net, along with several other sites like zreomusic dot com and northfire dot org, guaranteeing us a steady show of new faces along with our already stable user base. we use the generic unrealircd/anope combination (for shame, i know). our servers range from dedicated servers to reliable and tested shell ircd accounts. like our user base, our staff is very fun and sometimes have fun with their powers, but we all know and respect the line between fun and abuse and require that you do too.
chat dot microswift dot com/stats/ has some general activity statistics, server links, etc.. paimei dot straynet dot org is our #idle (idle rpg goodness!  ) statistics site; although the channel is relatively new, its become fun and contested among our users.

edit: got a few offers and this seems to come up a lot. we will not change the name of our network or let go of our services. period. |
