Ok well im on SwiftIRC a lot if anyone knows of it(rank #13) Anyway i was a network admin on a server but they linked and i become a normal user which is fine because i just love IRC in general, but im kinda on the look out for a new place to chill and im willing to help out no matter my status, preferably small servers who want help or a loyal user to come and stick around  also if anyone wants to start a new network im willing to come be a loyal user to help!
So...?

Well ConflictIRC is looking for users to make them selves at home our network is stable and run the latest anope services and unrealircd.
We have severeal community channels that will ensure ya never bored on the network. Such as internet-radio,idlerpg,trivia,games scripting. everything u could need =p where always looking for users and what makes us stand out from other networks is we dont use xdcc bots as users. We use REAL People lol.

There is only so much "being original" that can be done with a protocol that is more than 15 years old that no one except the original author can update due to the fact that IRC is an experimental protocol and IAB Official Protocol Standards says that only the development party of the original should even be using, let alone developing or even updating. That means that there should only be 1 IRC network in the world using a 15 year old code base because there would be no point in updating it, not thousands that eventually had to violate RFC to squeeze in new features to help keep IRC alive.
I'd also like to add that if it wasn't for Unreal, IRC would likely be a lot more quiet, with fewer networks in existance and likely far fewer users if IRC would even exist beyond the Top 10 networks.
If you want to bitch about something that is dead, bitch about the IRC protocol being dead. Better yet, use your infinate wisedom and write IRC3 so those that like to develop more state-of-the-art software can without bumping into 15 year old restictions due to non-scalability. |

I don't know about you, kats, but this guy is giving me a good laugh, shame it's at him not with him though.
j4nk, people can pick a daemon that fits their needs, they don't need little kiddies like you telling them that they're babies for using daemon x and services y.
