I have hope, the hope that someday IRC is torn down and removed from the internet. It was a mistake to make such a program, chat server, whatever you call it.
My hope is that it is torn down, destroyed, every server removed from the internet and existance, as we are not worthy of using such a tool. |

| Not to mention, any actual reason to deprive so many legitimate users of such a great service provided by so many charitable persons (most IRC servers/networks allow free access at the expense of whoever runs it) |

If you are so disgruntled about IRC, then it makes sense for you to never use IRC again. IRC is still small enough that you won't be too exposed to it if you never again connect. That way in your own perceptions, IRC will not exist. |

Because a certain person/people keep ruining it for countless people because of petty grudges. I am one of those people that it's been ruined for.

If only it were so easy to find something to replace it. If I had knowledge in coding I would do it myself. |

| uh. Even if you find a nice alternative for IRC, changing the underlying chat mechanism still results with you chatting with others. So if others are bothering you, recoding IRC does nothing to resolve your situation. |

| I fail to see how it's so hard to replace something you obviously hate. Just do it .. don't dwell on how hard you think it might be. Just focus on the new hobby. Surely there is something else on this planet you like other than IRC. |

How about getting sucked into a MMORPG? I can recommend a few if you're considering it.
As for wanting to code, I can also point you towards a few resources I use on a near-daily basis - depending on what language(s) you're interested in |

I'm more in to WoW, and yes these things can be addictive, but I feel this is beside the point.

I have no trouble what so ever chatting with others, it's just because of some people that will go unnamed banning me from servers over stupid, petty grudges that I'm having trouble. If I could find an alternative chat that allows me to have some of the same features of IRC with out the annoying IRCops that would be awesome. |
