Hi there.
My friend and I just delinked and started our own network. We are currently using Unreal 3.2.7 and Anope for services. Does anyone know if there is a front-end of Anope that will allow users to register/manage their channels/nicks on our website? We've seen other networks with it but I'm told that they wrote their own services. If there isn't anything for Anope, is there any other services that we could look into that have a front-end?
Thanks for your time.

No there is not. Anope current reads and writes to it's own database and will not honor any changes made to either it's FFF or mysql databases made by external sources.

That module is under heavy construction so it can still be buggy and the author is not actively available so I personally wouldn't recommend it. |

Atheme has a nice XML-RPC interface, which is ideal for web integration. |

| most of the time you are going to need to build your own IRC server, IRCD just does not support what your trying to do, most of the stuff you want comes with a price. |

Again, Anarchy this is a Services issue NOT an IRCd issue. This is completely possible and no cost at all.
Just so you know it *IS* possible for an IRCd to only allow registered users online using a username and password. Inspircd and Unreal IRCd can both do it. With Unreal it's a paid module, with Inspircd it's part of the server configuration as well as loading specific modules. |

| To be honest, if there was someone interested in writing (and sharing) a web front-end for any of the current services options, I'm sure they would have done so already. |
