| Is it me or are there lack os post? not to be mean but when I log on I see the same post with the same number. Not saying its boring but im just saying that it haws not been postful since December ;/ |

There has been a fair bit of activity of late... but the overwhelming majority of that activity has been spammers and their associated ilk - which usually dissapears before you notice it.
As for regular, registered, and welcome users coming in and sharing the info - it has been scant, i'll admit. Maybe I should make another Pick on Pingy thread just because the situation demands it?  |

later 2007 and 2008 will likely see a smaller amount of posts as opposed to 2006-early 2007.
Some may disagree, but a lot of the regulars that used to frequent here have moved on to other things for various reasons.
Some of the more well respected IRC community members have stopped posting. |

I agree. I've noticed a few have moved on. In particular, I miss the following forum members:- Ed

- JohnB
- Ashen
- and many more (If I have omitted someone, it's not a reflection on you - rather my rather shoddy blonde memory

One thing has been very obvious to me. IRC is more of a launching pad, than a destination.
Ed and JohnB each moved on from IRC to get involved in other interests. I've heard from both of them within the last week or so, and couldn't be more thrilled to report their projects have been very successful.
You know, change is the only constant. If there has to be change, then I hope it always leads to something better. |

| aside from Ed and JohnB, the others are still largely involved with IRC the same as before, they have just simply moved on from SIRC. |
