If you have a chat room, and want to add new & changing content to it, here's a great opportunity for you!
Dark Rose Radio (a small internet radio station online) is searching for anyone who would like to have a free internet radio station as a part of their chat room.
The station is an all-variety, listener supported internet station, playing mostly dance, pop, top 40, classic rock, rap, blues, oldies, R & B, and more.
It's free & easy to tune into, and we welcome any members who wish to be volunteer DJ's as we have software available for both Macintosh & Windows users.
The station currently has a listener capacity of 20 people on the server concurrently, and can easily be increased as the listener base expands.
Having the radio station as a part of your chat room will not cost you a dime. it is completely paid for by the owner, and legally licensed by LOUDcity.
Having Dark Rose Radio as a part of your chat room can have many benefits, such as:
• Increased traffic flow
• Increased participation
• Uplifting the over-all mood of users
• Increased sense of community
• And much much more!!!

After visiting a few of the channels above, people seem to have been getting the wrong impression of what I'm searching for.
I'm looking to have Dark Rose Radio become a part of a room on a server that already has activity going on in it. I'm not wanting to create my own room on the server.
I had a few people mention the fear of "spam" from the station.
The only thing I'd do, is have an action set up on my IRC program so that when people come into the room, it would automatically send them a private notice saying "welcome to (room name) put your chatting experience to music! Tune into Dark Rose Radio at http://www.darkroseradio.com and rock on!" |

We are currently hosting 4 internet radio stations and most of the chatters of this network switch about them it's a pretty cool community. Check it out
Also, if you already have rooms in other networks I'm sure any of our guys can hook you up with a free eggdrop to relay the chat amongst your rooms if you are interested.

Sorry I meant we're hosting 4 internet radio stations' channels ^_^ but the edit function wouldn't work since i'm past the allowed 30 minutes for edition |

irc.phantomirc.net would be happy to have a radio station.. we currently have one game up and running and a second coming along(currently in scripting process) as well website, forums, pretty much anything you need (In the near future we might be adding e-mails for our users)
So come stop by #lobby and talk to either B, or Baldwin or if I go on bubblez6000... There should be someone there most of the time |
