Be warned of network name removed
Recently it has been brought to my attention that the "monitor" ( if you are unfamiliar with this mod, look up monitor in irc on google ) spy module is in use on this network after a close friend informed me it was activated to spy on my own actions. I am unsure as to the reasoning, as I was not involved in any illegal activity or activities that would justify the usage of such a module.
I have also been told, that contrary to the defense used by their network admin that this was the first time it was used, that it has been used in prior cases to spy on other innocent users.
To make things worse I was one of the staff members trusted with Services Admin for over two years. I have, as of today, given up all access and use of this network as I feel invading the privacy of users for no ethical reason is not something that makes a good user environment.
They claim to be a * friendly, secure, environment in which to chat and have fun* however what they don't tell you is that they spy on you also. So be warned of this.

I may be wrong but as far as I know they already do, but that doesnt stop their agencies doing it. |

The IRC networks forum is not a place for flaming/trolling about network politics.
