Yeah. I'm an well-experienced IRC Operator, who for the last 2 weeks has been searching for an IRC network. So far, I haven't really come across much. If you're interested in my support, give us a shout and I'll take a look.

Thanks.

P.S - I've also a server, which could be used for a link....

Check out irc.ungowa.org, we're a friendly community. We're growing fast, and are always looking for help, and servers.

You have enough channel op's and IRC operators so you won't need my help, right?

Being a well experienced irc operator as you claim, then it should be blatenly obvious that not all opers spend 24/7 on irc, nor do they visit all at the same time due to timezone differences. They may have made you an offer perhaps in attempt to find a suitable applicant to for-fill time-gap differences... just my 2cents. Sorry if i am wrong ungowa staff.

We do have plenty of ops in #UnGoWa, but we only have 2 IRCops at this time. That would be myself, and Liam.

They have too many channel op's in the channel, for such a little small amount of space.

I see your logic on this and yes I do agree there is more channel ops on their main channel than normal users, but then if this is an issue why not just -o yourself or set a noop option on your nick? Solves the problem and you help contribute to more normal users than ops Very Happy

I myself dislike networks with a bunch of ircops. But this guy offered a place nicely and you are flaming about. Which isn't nesessary. If you checked out his place and didn't like it I don't think that this is the place to shame them if *you* didn't like their network.

I don't know neither of you but this kind of flaming is something ugly to read.

If I were to be looking for a network to oper up I'd give out PROOF of my past experience as well as networks in which I've opered they can check out and ask for references.
I have been an IRC operator for roughly 9 years and the last 6 on the same network (the one I currently am as developer/resources admin)
What I mean is.. If you were an IRCOP we or any other network would like to have in the staff where can we check for your previous experience?

No harsh feelings, just an opinion
