First of all, you should make sure you have SwiftSwitch 2.40.
When it refers to, File > Options > Chat Options, do the following:
Step 1) Go to your "File" in the taskbar for Swiftswitch.
Step 2) From "File" go to the "Options".
Step 3) From "Options" go to the "Chat Options".
Step 4) After you click on "Chat Options", you need to use one of the recommended servers, then click "Ok".

When you first load the applet, either you or someone else viewing the applet slelected no the first time.
THe alternative is the security settings on the computer. |

most likely the Admin does not allow that kind of connection out, most users on XP and vista you have to click allow, or the admin has to, guest accounts you cant do anything. |
