Finally after more than two years of operation already (and a network name change a year or so back), we're finally trying to branch out a bit more in public areas to advertise the network (where proper of course : P).
We're a smaller network, never grew too large due to mainly having a 'knowing each other' network (eg; pretty much nearly everyone on the network knows each other excluding some recent new clients over the past couple months).
Currently the network runs a custom UnrealIRCd setup of sorts with some nice mode control available, as well as a good services setup which provides a lot of the basic services usage w/ some extras, as well as a Hostserv (its an approval based system, not a just request and get system)
What we are looking for:
Clients to connect who will hang out for while, setup their own channels of course and bring others to the network to help us grow some.
Friendly people who will hang out in general, IRC-knowledgeable clients who can also help others (newbies) if they have questions, as we plan to get a lot of new-to-IRC people to the network over time most likely.
People who of course can follow our policies : P
What we are not looking for:
We are not looking for linkups, the only exception to this case will be people who are requesting linkups that already have a good client count on said server (eg; 50+ clients at least), and there will be other requirements, if you have questions on this, talk to nate upon connecting.
We are not looking for people who want us to link to them, this is a owned network by myself, I have my own website, my own code, my own policies and so on, there is no easy possible way to link up to other networks without completely abandoning mine, so no I won't do it.
Beyond that, we're a friendly network, and and I know what people say to having a 'Set Theme' we really don't have one right now, we're literally just a 'General' network, but we want to scope off into more set categories/topics for the network, so anyone who wants to bring more categorized channels to us (eg; 'Official' channels for websites interested in setting up an IRC channel and what not), feel free to, and just ask any of the network staff for assistance if needed.
Note: This is a more important note, we are a Friendly Bots only network, as per policies and all that (linked below), Warez/XDCC/FServe and all that is not permitted on the network, so please don't bring any thing like that here.
