|
|
| I found my network on SearchIRC, but the information such as the network name is wrong, so I wanted to change and update some things. But when I try to request access, the bot which I have seen before come on and index channels, doesn't connect to the server, to see if I'm opered or have the right nickname, I'm at a loss of what to do. Except maybe, submit it, but its all ready on here. o.o If someone could help that'd be wonderful. |

What network? What server should it be connecting to?
also renaming seldom happens. If you changed domains, you have to submit it as a new network. |

| Well, the network is this really odd name, RupkotharGolpo, but the server is right irc.fantasy-books.net. But as I'm having some DNS issues, I suppose thats why its not connecting to grant access. It can still connect to index channels though, because the bot goes through the IP. But when anyone trys to force the bot to connect manually, it trys to go through the host. |

Yeah, we're connecting to rupkothargolpo.net
You'll have to submit fantasy-books.net as a new network.
If the bot doesn't connect, you can't get access. |

Apparently it says it has already been submitted, and under Rupkothargolpo
Is there any way you can delete that , or make a new one, or something, I'm at a loss. |

So I tried submitting this Network as Fantasy-Books with the major server as irc.fantasy-books.net.
And got this -
There was an error with your input
Sorry, but the server you specified already exists on an existing SearchIRC network. Please check the networks page to make sure the network you're trying to add isn't already present. If you are sure the network isn't already listed on SearchIRC OR you wish to have this network reactivated on SearchIRC, please contact us
So I did a search for Fantasy-Books and got this -
Network Server
RupkotharGolpo irc.fantasy-books.net
So basically it already exsists... Just not under the right Network, and without, being able to access it. Sorry for any inconvenience I have caused. |

the last time it connected to RupkotharGolpo, it saw the irc.fantasy-books.net server. so now when you try to add it, it knows it already exists in the system.
i've cleared the server list, and you'll be able to add fantasy-books. |
