AfterNET (http://www.afternet.org/ and irc.afternet.org) has been around since 1996, but we've just recently made some major improvements to our website and have added the ability for users to create their own pages and for channel owners to make custom channel pages. We're typically open to allowing some of our users to maintain sections of our new site, such as the "Dear Nerdie" section, where one of our regular members gives her answers to various questions.
The network typically has about 800 users on it, and a significant portion of our userbase is technologically savvy. We pride ourselves on maintaining high-speed IRC servers around the globe, with a strong emphasis on network and service stability, and we think our network is a great place for you to host a personal channel or a channel for your website or online community.
