Hi guys.
I've got a dedicated server, with 5 spare IP addresses. I'm looking for a couple of networks to lend a hand to, by pretty much *giving* a shell account to the use of the network. it's not necessary to give me an oline, but it shows good respect... id prefer a network that wasn't running unreal ircd (nothing personal unreal coders, there's just too much in your ircd that in my personal opinion, ruins irc - also helps me weed out the kids). I'd also like a network that's not running with warez/xdcc channels - not because of the legality, but because of the huge amounts of bandwidth they 'waste' and the seats (open files) that they 'waste' which could be better used for *real* people.
the ircd will be able to hold 1000 clients (with 24 buffer, as most ircds use). I don't have a problem with different languages, as long as English is used when I'm being talked to.
The server is located in US on the East Coast. The server is running the latest 2.4.x kernel, with a nearing 50 day uptime. It's maintained by two New Zealanders who have over 7 years experience in Linux each.
Please contact me by PM on these boards, or by replying to this thread.
Thanks guys.
Regards,
Xaphan. |
