wouldn't comparing Rizon to ShoutCast be like comparing apples to oranges?
I mean, Rizon is an IRC network and ShoutCast is something pushed by a company (more specifically Winamp/Nulsoft) so the latter is quite likely to have a broader range of audience (when it comes down to music) |

i dont like efnet anyways, its the jungle.
u get packet to lose ur op so others take over.. |

| Those sort of people soon end up an op in a channel all on their own and looking stupid for their actions while you're free to go and create a new alternate channel instead. |

Or another network entirely... I scarcely visit the big 4 networks due to the horror stories of script kiddies and other ilk making the rounds (and the lack of ip cloaking at each of the networks - unless you get an account - doesn't help my paranoia) |

| its still weird that nothing is writen about irc on shoutcast site which let me to presume they linked in one perpous of spaming their site. well u can tell me they dont need to, but still i belive few thousands of visitors a day can make a difference |

| Most servers on EFNET are hosted by well-known companys and ISP's... they host IRC servers but they aren't necessarly related to the company in any way. |
