I was looking around in the "Help Wanted" section of the forum, and saw there is a good number of networks who need help and thought I might make a post here so anyone who is just browsing might drop me an email. Let me start of with who I am. My name is Justin, I'm currently serving in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. I'm a Chemical Operations Specialist, and I absolutely love my job. I will probably do 30 years in the Army. I am nineteen, and I have been on a computer since I was around seven. So let me give you my experience, I can code HTML, PHP/MySQL, XML (not great), and bash/shell scripts. I am well rounded when it comes to coding and projects, so if there is something specific you need, Im good at googling enough information to get whatever job I need done.

Right now I have my own dedicated server with FDC that just sits, because I dont have anything to do.

The server specs:
AMD 1400
512MB RAM
100Mbit port
80GB HDD 7200 RPM
Unmetered transfer
Burstable bandwidth

I am willing to put ircds on the server to link up, use it as a hub or whatever, I also have experience running/teching servers for hosting companys. So if you want to start a hosting company, thats an option too.

Please email, post a reply, hit me on messenger, whatever is easiest for you. Im willing to start projects or whatever, just looking for something to do in my free time (by the way is a lot of time).

I work , and I also go to college Online, I'm working on a degree in Information Technology. There is a 75% chance I will be deployed in march of next year, but even then I will still be able to stay online over in IRAQ.

(P.S: There are probably no replies because of the FDC, what you pay for that AMD 1400 I have the ability to have a P4 3.0 GHz with HT, 1 gig ram, 160 gb drive, 500 gb transfer, and other stuff too. Not to mention FDC is a load of crap, unorganized really.)

FDC's gotten MUCH better with their network. I have a server out of FDC, and IMO they have great service. Their support however sucks.

Concerning FDC, I don't know why you have a problem with it "Alpha" i believe was the person whineing.

I have only had to call them once, and while I was on the phone to them describing my problem, they were already on their way to my server to help fix the issue I had. - The server was up and running 5 minutes later.

FDC has come a LOOONNNGGG way in the last year to six months. There support has improved and network/bw has improved also. FDC isnt as bad as people think Cool
