*sigh* this is the reason i said.. so many come and so many go.. till you or your friend at something that is even roughly ready should keep them pretty quiet.. otherwise when it falls apart you are left with vapourware

| trystan: you're right, we're still planning, my friend is definately going to do it, currently he's studying the different IRCd's and services available, he's also studying perl, but as soon as we get somewhere with the proto-type expected in around six months, we'll have a server for information, and and ideas for new features. |

| we'll also need coders once the proto-type is out, as well as testers, most likely the only way to get this IRC "hybrid" is to join with the network, till an actual tested version is released.. |

(dream most likely, lol) | Funny thing is you will never remove mirc scripts because how are people supose to connect to the networks? Everyone doesnt use Xchat because everyone has different opions on scripts to use for IRC. Me personally i use mIRC, nothing can change it but maybe a million dollars but that will never happen, so you will never the need for mIRC. good luck trying |

| What on earth do mIRC scripts have to do with actually connecting to an IRC network? |

mIRC scripts and mIRC are 2 different things. I believe Keiji was talking about removing the need for some of the more popular mIRC scripts by giving those features as part of the package. Not preventing the use of mIRC or its scripts. |
