Agreed, all this will do is spark yet another ircd vs ircd vs ircd arguement/debate which there's too many of. Some like the simpler while others like the another type of ircd. |

Klip - That just depends on the person as far as which ircd they like. |
Nothing, which makes it funny |

Curious to know how many people downloaded that release in the first 24 hours..
I myself am not upgrading my network for a little bit... |

- PREFIX_AQ (the ~ and & symbols for +q and +a) are now ENABLED BY DEFAULT on *NIX.
They have always been enabled on Windows, so it made sense to do the same for *NIX.
Pretty much all major clients support it now (mIRC, xchat, irssi, epic, PJIRC,
CGI:IRC, etc).

One reason to *never* upgrade, right there. & and ~ prefixes for +q and +a suck ass. |

| That brain is your opinion. You are free to write your IRCd anyway you choose. But a lot of networks use the a and q prefixes, just because you don't like them doesn't make it wrong. |

You missed the point. Before 3.2.5 it was DEFAULT OFF, but now its DEFAULT ON. |

I've seen many Unreal upgrades and updates come by... quite frankly, I'm still running 3.2.3 and can't find anything wrong with it besides the fact that all services that run on Unreal seem to have "issues" (and in some of the cases the people who made them too).
Anyways phanx for the update but I'm still waiting for 3.3 to come out. |
