were do i go to get it.. noone seems to wanna tell me.. |

Just go to any Domain registrar.
I recommend Godaddy. You just register a domain name then make an irc. subdomain to point to the IP of a server.

| what you mean an irc sub domain explaine, and does it have to be a irc.example.net .com .org, or came it be any other ones, cuz ive never seen like a .be or a .us or anything like that. so can it? |

get your domain from a registrar (GoDaddy is a popular choice apparently), point the nameservers of the domain towards something like zoneedit or any host willing to host your domain (ZoneEdit, for example) - note, you will have to create user accounts both with the registrar and host - once the domain has been "re-assigned" its nameservers, you can add subdomains (A Records) as you wish.
therefore, you can create an irc.* subdomain pointing at the IP address of your IRC server (to create a round-robin, just make multiple A Records of irc.* pointing to different IP addresses, however some nameserver hosts disallow this, so best to check first)
just to note: you can use any subdomain you wish for IRC, like chat.* for example, just common convention to use irc.*  |

i don't recommend zoneedit because its only free if you use tiny amounts of throughput. MyDomain.com offers free dns services no matter how many dns requests you get (e.g. it doesnt stop after you use a certain number of dns requests) |

| i did say for example there are scores of nameserver hosts out there, just gotta find 'em (for my domain, my registrar had a rudimentary area to specify subdomains that overruled nameservers) |
