that is debatable, in many circles =P
being bored has been the cause of many good things, and so has a boredom-inflicted g/k:line/shun....although I can imagine your next argument will be something along the lines of end not always justifying the cause...to which i would have to agree.... |

because katsklaw knows the akill command and how to make it permanent Besides some of us should do that website they promised yesterday *cough*Hint*cough*
Oh, and Zeke, it don't matter to me if you and you staff use vanity /kills or not .. just don't do them to people that it would offend. I'm not so bad that I don't enjoy a good /kill every once in a while for say a B-Day or a promotion .. but outta the clear blue I'm the kind that could be offended because I might be too busy doing something to play "tag". |

Totaly agree! Being an IRCop is NOT an excuse to get nasty, even when one is bored.
I am the only IRCop on my shift, as I am the only one in my part of the world. Most users and IRCops are sleeping when I do my shift. Bored? All the time. But that is not a reason to play nasty. If nothing else, there is a whole wide web to explore!
Me, I read news, write poetry, diddle with photos and catch up on my email. And sometimes I visit other networks just to say g'day.
Any "bored" IRCops are welcome to drop by serenity-irc and say g'day. I am in the GMT +8 time zone. |

I totally agree with boredness not being a valid excuse to play/goof around. Me, I surf bash.org (aaaah, bash ), or chat on other networks - either to meet people, talk to old friends, or oper up there and perform my staffing duties - or maintain my own site (and other sites as requested)...
however, I'll try to drop by your net, Mex (I'm GMT +1300 atm -- gotta love daylight savings ) so I might pop up when you're active. |

Come by anytime, PingBad. I am GMT+8.
Any other "bored" IRCops? Come have a chinwag in #serenity on the serenity-irc network. No one will try and talk you into registering, joining up, or be in your face. Just friendly chat with those who are awake and available.
If you happen to be in Australia or NZ, or want to be, also come visit in #aussiechat, where strain is spoken, but do be sure to bring your spoon. <heh heh> |

| Some networks disappear just as fast as they are founded... mine's been up for 5 years in total but that has more to do with my persistance and hard-headedness then the success of the network or the amount of people visiting it. But then again it's just for personal use... |

You really like digging up old threads dont you? You've brought up 6 old threads so far. All over a year old. Stop that. |
