| I have installed into my shell PTlink6.19.2 and anope-1.7.7 services, but the hostserv service doesnt works. Does somebody knows how to code it to work or where can I get the code of it? |

| Assuming PTLink supports vhosts (i'm not 100% sure), you have to enable HostServName and HostsDB in the configuration file, and it should work. |

| I'm pretty sure that PTLink is like Hybrid, and that you have to connect to a special connection class to mask your host. |

PTLink has dynamic vhosts, however. I did play with it briefly, and as an IRCop you can use /newmask to change your vhost. I think it might even have hostcloaking (similar to Unreal). The only thing is, I don't know if services can change your vhost. Ask the developers . |

from what i remember of using ptlink, services cannot change a users host, but it may do.
However if anope hasnt enabled hostserv then obviously either the coders of anope or ptlink havent got a way for for users hosts to be changed via services on their ircd's. |

vHost support for PTLink is there in anope SVN builds, and will be present in the next dev release of anope.
If you want it now, by all means take a copy of the SVN code :) |

| Looks like the TS protocol issue, I have got Latest PTlink working with the Latest Anope Code, So I'd recommend you test it out. |

| older ptlink would have an issue with Anope 1.7.6 or later, but thats why the TS is definable.. if you open up ptlink.h in the src/protocol folder you will note there is a reference to how to make it work |

| Because the developers of PTLINK decided to update their protocol and a simple way with Tsora based ircd is to pass the SVINFO command to each other.. and confirm they are both running the same level of protocol.. Anope has support PTLINK since 6.15.x series which is VERY old. but has a different TS level then PTLINK 6.19.x |

| And of course, Raw is not supported by the Anope team, and if your IRCd/Network dies, we'll just turn round and say 'We told you so'. |
