Hi, just a quick post really, our network is looking for someone who can modify asuka-1.2.1 or if you could point us to some already coded patches, that'd be great, i've looked but can't find any!
Anyone if your interested in helping admin@sdweb.co.uk
Thanks |

| What do you want to change? There are some other p10 ircds floating around that do different things.. |

| What sort of patches were you after? Also, since asuka's based on ircu, anybody familiar with that should be able to modify asuka. |

force custom host changes via command not just the usual S:lines or /sethost but for users so they can use sethost too or so opers can froce sethost.
Thanks |

| Not sure I understand the bit about having to add facilities for users to be able to sethost, they can currently. Just add F:SETHOST_USER:TRUE to your ircd.conf and set up your S: lines correctly. And as for opers forcing a fake host on users...ugh! :) |

I may be able to do what you need, most likely for free. Let me know exactly what you need and I'll see if I have the time to do it. If it's urgent, I do indeed do custom coding for a nominal fee
However, you may want to look at Nefarious. It seems like it would be up your alley. |

You can also "force" *specific* users to get custom hosts with asuka.
S: lines can automagically modify the host of a user connecting from a specific IP. See asuka's example config for details. |
