Point four in your list of rants:
i actually did go to undenet once and find out what this was. After being told 'its technical stuff you dont need to know, dont ask' (a typical 'apple computers style response') i finally dug into the ircu source to find out it is resolver stats (from res.c i believe) -- why a normal user would want to know this, im unsure. but its there. |

try as you might the old opinion of apple tech support will always persist:
"when i load up my computer it does X, why?"
"you dont want to know why it does X, dont ask, apple will take care of you"

of course, its only a joke but makes you wonder where the roots of it come from eh?  |

On class 6, 1 of 4 connections used, 10 target changes within 10 minutes limit. |
