| I set up the oline properly but it won't take when I try and oper up. although I were searching and found something about mkpasswd.. I can't figure out how to use it if the oper password needs to be encrypted. and that if anyone knows how to reply asap thanksalot! |

easiest way to encrypt a password is to use
/makepass on the ircd
have a look at
/ircdhelp makepass
