Xander, Jason is aware of the problems with the non-html chars in your channel name, and he is looking into it. I'm going to take a wild guess thats the reason its not working in the control panel as well. I am sure jason will be in touch with you soon.

When I setup the mychannels I decided to use the networkname/channelname layout for the page urls. The problem with this approach is a channel like #C++ will not function since + is a special char in a url string (space). There isn't much we can do right now to change this.

sorry but...hex!!!!

http://searchirc.com/search.php?F=exact&T=chan&N=1710&I=C++
channel not found

http://searchirc.com/search.php?F=exact&T=chan&N=1710&I=C%2b%2b
notice the 2b% at the end. thats hex for a +. every ascii character has a hex value. and all browsers understand it.

the link works aswell. Very Happy

I know how it works, but you have to remember on the flip side there is a directory being created. I don't have any plans to support special character folders. You're also forgetting that in addition to special characters, there are a large number of channels who don't even use english characters for channel names. If I work on a fix for this, it will fix things properly, not for just one part of the problem.
