| IRC has millions of channels helping people with hardware, software, and other things. If you want to talk about books - join #books on a big net like efnet or undernet. If you want to talk about moovies - join #moovies on a big net. If u want warez or just chat - there are lots of channels u can find. However, there aint any educational channels.. wouldnt it be nice to come to #food and talk to someone who is good at cooking. :) ok.. im off to lunch.. |

You had a specific channel in the topic.
The reason we do not allow network names, channel names, or anything specific to a channel/network, is so that:
1) The subject line contains only the contents of the thread.
2) The posts don't diminish into a spamfest, with users posting to get traffic.
If your network needs a new server, you can post "Network needs servers", anyone who's interested will visit. But you can't use it to advertise your network, channel, etc. |

Excellent idea for a channel. I think though that most people on IRC's idea of a delicacy is crunching up fritos in their ramen noodles.

I do alot of home cooking and experimenting with receipes around the world. I love preparing, anything from spicey to mediaeval stew 14th C.
