The future of IRC liew prodominatly with the larger warez networks!
Unless something dramatically changes that allows more publicity to the smaller, well run networks. Yes, maybe you search irc would loose a few hundred users for their website each day... but are we really living in a statistical age? it appears that way!

The larger channels sure look big, but fact is, the warez channels are a small part of IRC.
Look here: http://searchirc.com/channel-stats
84% of the channels have 10 or less users.
0.08% of the channels have over 1,000 users. |
