A story about X-Chat's recent move to shareware binaries for Win32 has been submitted to Slashdot - some insightful, informative, interesting comments as usual along with the garbage.

this sucks donkeyballs, but oh well. according to xchat.org zed is working with a few solutions submitted by users to keep it free after all.
If not, I hope he starts a paypal account for payment. Sad
