Looking For A Good Link

Hi all,

I have a relatively new, quite fast server that can handle a good load, and I'm looking (incidentally) for a good Christian network to link to. I'm more than happy to start building my own network over time, but I figured it'd be the smart thing to do to post a thread here and see if there are any already established networks, or stand-alone server admins, interested in a new link.

The network must be profanity-free, and comfortable with a demographic, or sub-demographic, revolving around the discussion of theology and apologetics. I'd prefer that the prospective network (or server) be Christian based, in terms of staff and vision, but I'm willing to overlook that if the network is open enough to the idea of hosting such a demographic, and I like the atmosphere.

My server is relatively quiet right now as the forum it spawned out of doesn't appear to have many IRC junkies on it (it has a lot of frequent posters, though, so I'm still trying to iron that out and see if I can promote the IRC more effectively).

I'd like to suggest you come and visit the United Christian Chat Network. We started a few years ago when 2 or 3 Christian Networks at the time decided to show some unity on the internet. Unfortunately, numbers have dwindled in the past 12 months or so, and we've been looking for ways to branch out into new communities and make new friends.

Our website is http://www.unitedchristianchat.net/, and irc.unitedchristianchat.net is the main round robin address. Feel free to drop in and have a chat with us. As a network we're very easy going, open to discussion, and we also believe that the network is a service provided to the channel owners and the users.

I'm generally patient and like to get to know a community before engaging that kind of relationship, so I can understand discretion.
