say you do not tolerate illegal activity on your network, but a large hacker/whatever community sets up a channel.
do you ask them to leave, knowing that these are the kinds of people who have the knowledge to cause some serious trouble on your net?
what would you do? |

| Well, as they haven't actually done anything yet, hypothetically speaking, I would let them be. That dosen't mean I'd just let them freely be, as they'd probably draw more of a attentive watch from me, but unless a user has actually done something to warrant removal, I won't make a preemptive move personally. |

... Pht, lol!!
Diplomatic approaches don't really work on a lot of servers, IRCops usually like going on power trips so it's more like a whole dictatorship. |

i had a similar problem where that happened on one of the servers linked to me, a script kiddie community started 2 channels,
long story short, that server is delinked now. |

| well the best bet is if you dont want them there talk with them ask them why they decided to join your server? just dont go abusing your tools, cause if you do that your server will never see the light of day again. meaning DDOS attacks random flooding. |

true that - best to talk to them rather than randomly gline. |
