Hey,
Im unsure if something like this exists (if it does i cant see it) but a link for "report this post" or something would be nice, or "Suggest this thread for locking". It's just threads like this:

Which start of fine but instantly turn into:
"but im bleh and do bleh and make bleh so im obviously right!" which in turn baits others into responding.
Obvious off topic posts like "visit my network!" when the user posted a question about how to count to 10.
Pointless petty fighting like "that network is crap - coz i said so!" which obviosuly leads to that network saying "no were great, he's crap!" etc...
I know i've suggested a karma style system before (and yes, i know it isnt ideal) but something along the lines of being able to at least report a post as pointless flamebait, or suggest moderators take a look at a whole thread would be nice :)
Ok that thread isnt the best example, but the amount of off-topic, flamebait and petty fighting posts in general just seems to be going up and up :(. |
