According to SearchIRC one of the IPs I access SearchIRC from (70.143.61.XXX) has an open proxy on port 80.
This is simply not true; there is an Apache instance, but mod_proxy is not loaded nor compiled in.
Please fix this error, as right now I am having to tunnel through my home machine to access SearchIRC. (Which is somewhat inconvenient, even though I have plenty of upstream bandwidth.)

I just tested this, its banning anyone with an open webserver on port 80.
A webserver is NOT a proxy. |

It's not banning anyone. It's just preventing PM and posting of threads.
The scan on port 80 is removed, and the script in use right now will be replaced shortly. The current one is dumb, it checks for an open port, nothing more. The replacement actually tries to use the proxy and reports an open proxy only if it allows the test program to proxy out. |
