| I find two services very convinent, but some have commands I prefer not to use. Stupid question, but is there anyway possible to run two services, if you disable some of the services from each of the two, so that they can run sync. |

haven't seen this done before, but yeah, you can.
You would just have to give each of them their own server name, etc. and you can't have both use "ChanServ" nickname, mabye disable chanserv in one and enable it in another?
Although, it would not be possible for the other service to work with the other, because since you have to register a nickname to use memoserv, chanserv, etc. chanserv, memoserv need to be using the same DB and services package.
So, it's possible to run two services, but they won't work together. |

| well, I was thinking of using all of surrealservices, with anope's botserv(since it includes kick options) and operserv (since it can't be disabled) think it would work? |

Don't you need a registered nickname to use operserv? if so, then you can't.
As for botserv, you also need some kind of identification. |

| co-founder for channels? If so, yes that's actually part of the service but it's called successor instead of co-founder |

| Yes anope does. Looke on anope's web site and you should find the module you need. I have it loaded and it works just fine for me. |

Not actually. A successor is the person that "inherits" the channel in the even the founders nick is dropped or expires.
Anope doesn't have a co-founder per se in the core. However, if you as the founder turn on SECUREFOUNDER, then you can give the channel password to the person(s) you would like as "co-founder" and they can do everything a founder can do after they identify to ChanServ except change the channel password/founder/successor nor drop the channel.
| Code: |
.:17:22:. -ChanServ- Syntax: SET channel SECUREFOUNDER {ON | OFF}
-
.:17:22:. -ChanServ-
-
.:17:22:. -ChanServ- Enables or disables the secure founder option for a channel.
-
.:17:22:. -ChanServ- When secure founder is set, only the real founder will be
-
.:17:22:. -ChanServ- able to drop the channel, change its password, its founder and its
-
.:17:22:. -ChanServ- successor, and not those who are IDENTIFY'd with ChanServ.

Not only does this provide a way to have co-founders without a module .. but secures the channel from being dropped/pass changed if the channel password were compromised. In addition, it works on Anope driven networks where you don't have access to load modules, non-oper status for example and still want a co-founder. |

| I know, but /cs identify is somewhat dangerous in the perspective of the founder, I know you can change the password if someone finds out, but that means alot more of a hassle, I'm probably going with surrealservices. |

Let me get this straight .. your entire reasoning for switching services is because there is a slight chance someone can find out a channel's password?!
Have you considered the fact that surreal services are not perfect either? The founders password can still be leaked regardless of of which services you use. At least with Anope, only the TRUE founder can change the channel pass and not just anyone that has it. Which stops the channel from being hijacked. |

| surreal doesn't have a /cs identify, not to mention the fact, that its alot easier to set a op's level, anope is great, but in my opinion, surreal is better channel protection wise |
