Are you bored of polls asking you how bored you are? Are you sick and tired of posts sounding like 1970's commercials? Are you restless? Do modern laundary detergents just not seem good enough? Does doing the dishes frustrate you?
It seems the norm for ircd 'developers' to sit in this forum and ask "what's so great about unreal" as if theyve never used it themselves, because they either plan on ripping off unreal's functionality, or because they honestly can't understand why people would like unrealircd (or windows (or america)).
Well "!@#$ that shit". I'll be the first to outright admit that unreal is a lot better than MY ircd. I'm not going to wait for some post "omg ur ircd sux". Yeah. good. Use unrealircd. I do. |

i would often just ignore such a thread as this. This thread is a waste of time, has nothing to do with irc, and is just your personal rant-fest.
If you're annoyed that i blocked you on AIM then please, take out your frustrations on yourself, rather than trying to show me or other developers up here. Do i ever insult YOUR ircd? no. In fact, i do not insult anyone. What gives you the right to come here, posting inflammatory polls about other people? I have nothing against your ircd, i have nothing against unreal, and i have nothing against anyone.
I use unreal. I like unreal. That doesnt make me psychic, or give me the ability to know why others like it. I believe its perfectly in my right to ask such questions and learn something about what people like and don't like. In business, such a thing is called market research.
Please, stop posting these threads, it will not cause me to unblock you on AIM, nor will it make me or anyone else like you. |

Being as i was the one who posted the original thread as critiqued above, i took it kind of personal.
I dont understand why whenever i try and learn something about other peoples opinions i'm shot down by someone and usually for no good reason.
Sorry if it came across as more confrontational than it should be, i just really did not see the need for yet another thread about this. |
