well, first of all since its my first posting, i salut the great effort of searchirc team. i have a suggestion which i hope you will like, and find first of all usefull.
http://searchirc.com/dir/Regional <- under this link we see the regional channels.
I suggest the same for networks. and this could help alot.
it could help in a way to know how many networks exist from this region or from that region.. this could introduce networks to eachothers and probably it will encourage some to link to eachother, to become bigger... etc.

We have regional networks categories in place:

Eventually we'll add even more detail than just 'regional'.
