I just saw my thread "FantasyDreams IRC Network" being locked, but for what reason?

Probably, but wouldn't it be easier to just remove the topics instead of actually locking a thread?

Well, you'd announced your network so there can't be much more to add to the topic.

That's if this was the reason for locking it Smile

True, but why should the ones who start the threads get the blame for what others do? Its not my fault people went off topic and I should get the thread locked for that? Its not really fair, atleast what I think.

SearchIRC are now taking a zero tolerance policy from what i hear, so threads will be locked frequently if the off-topic lameness persists across all the threads.. Just a heads up. (i may be wrong)

I can't comment on why a specific thread has been locked, that's for the moderator who locked it to explain.

But....SearchIRC forums are not a place to bitch about things, insult people and the other stuff that goes on.

Threads will get locked, next people will get banned, then hopefully the message will be got across that these types of messages are not welcome at SearchIRC.

Read the rules, they are a good guideline for do's and dont's

I do understand that JohnB, however why should I get my thread locked for someone else doing? Its not my responsibilites that people bitches around in my thread, is it? But anyways if thats how it works here then I accept it.
