800 active irc networks

Jason and I just added the networks that were submitted today. As soon as the bots gather the channel lists and post the information, SearchIRC will be listing:

OVER EIGHT HUNDRED ACTIVE IRC NETWORKS!

Precisely, 803 active IRC networks!

We added 18 more networks today. These are not all new networks, or small networks, or networks in some far flung corner of the globe. Most are simply networks that have lived in obscurity until now. I can honestly say we had no idea how hard it would be to keep our list current and accurate, but I get no small sense of gratification when I compare it with other lists. :)

Due to some ip changes and my laziness to rederct dns etc it might look as if we're dead. However we've been using irc.mircd.com as our network address for awhile now. Today I also redirected irc.mircd.org to the new ips, so maybe I'll start getting visits from searchirc bots soon?

The robots have been watching for mircd.org, so if that is now functional, they will visit it whenever the dns points to a properly configured ircd.

I can update it to mircd.com though if that is the main address.

In the future, I recommend using the 'submit information about...' link on your network page, for mircd it is located at: http://searchirc.com/network-info/mIRCd
